Welcome to Venturing Crew 851!

Where and when do we meet?

Crew 851 meets at Epiphany Lutheran Church - our charter organization - located at 9122 Sybert Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043.

Meetings are every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 PM 

Venturing Crew 851 is a unit in the Boy Scouts of America.  Our crew emphasizes the high adventure aspect of the venturing program.  We are an active crew with multiple activities each month.  Some of those activities include (but are not limited to): Backpacking, caving, camping, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, shooting, and white water rafting.  We are always looking for fun and exciting high adventure activities.

What is Venturing? Venturing is a co-ed division of the Boy Scouts of America that focuses on leadership and youth development.  The Program is for young men and women 14 through 20 years of age (or 13 and have completed the 8th grade.)
